Shipping & Returns

Shipping

Due to extended and highly variable shipping times, orders may take 1-3 weeks to be delivered. You will receive a shipping confirmation once the order ships which will include a tracking number. If you do not receive a shipment confirmation within 2 weeks or your package within 3 weeks, feel free to contact customer support.

We only can ship to your Ameren Missouri service address.

A confirmation email will be sent with the tracking code after your order has shipped.

General Item Returns

Eligible Time Period: 30 days from delivery date

Non-Eligible Items: opened or installed thermostats, caulks, foams, mastic, tapes, and items that are not in original condition

We want you to be satisfied with the products purchased from us, but are unable to refund products that have been installed, for which the original packaging has been destroyed, or that are otherwise not in original condition and resalable. You are responsible for returning products in a safe, unbroken condition, so please pack returns carefully. You may want to insure returns of valuable merchandise. Upon receipt a credit equal to the product purchase price will be issued to you through the same payment method you used to pay for the order.

Incorrectly Shipped Orders

Eligible Time Period: 2 business days from delivery date. Depending on the original method of shipment we will either issue a FedEx or UPS Call Tag or send a prepaid return address label for you to return the incorrectly shipped merchandise. We will ship a new order for the correct merchandise within one business day.

Damaged Item Returns

Eligible Time Period: 2 business days from delivery date. If an order has arrived damaged you should notify both Ameren Missouri and the carrier within 2 business days. All packaging should be kept because the carrier may choose to inspect the damaged goods and shipping box at the delivery address. Ameren Missouri will issue a credit to the customer pending confirmation from the carrier. We may or may not request return of the damaged goods. If we do request that the goods be returned Ameren Missouri will either issue a FedEx or UPS call tag or provide a prepaid return address label to be used for returning those items damaged in transit.

Defective Item Returns (Smart Thermostats)

If smart thermostat is deemed truly defective by the manufacturer, NOT incompatible, contact the thermostat manufacturer to discuss replacement. See Below.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

Items must be returned within 45 days of invoice to be eligible for credit.
Returned items must be received by the supplier AM Conservation Group (AMCG) in new condition and in the original packaging to be eligible for a refund.
AMCG will send you Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) documentation which must be included with shipment and RMA number printed on each package in order for returned material to be received at AMCG.
A 20% re-stocking charge will be assessed on all returns unless the return is a result of an error made by AMCG or the product is faulty.
Return shipping cost is the responsibility of the customer unless the return is a result of an error made by AMCG, in which case, AMCG will issue FEDEX or UPS labels to have the product picked up.

How do I complete my enrollment in the Peak Time Savings program?

First, make sure you receive a confirmation email that we received your order. Upon receiving your new smart thermostat, download the free Sensi app for easy DIY installation instructions. You’ll be asked to login or create a new Emerson account and then it will walk you through every step of the installation process. Once installed, follow this link, complete the form and log on to your Emerson account. Authorize the Peak Time Savings Program to connect with your thermostat and that's it! You're on your way to savings! Your new smart thermostat's serial number is pre-recorded in the system, just for you, so please do not resell or gift the thermostat to others, as it may result in your account being charged back the $50 sign-up bonus received as part of this offer.

What do I get for participating?

As part of completing your enrollment in the Peak Time Savings program with this offer, you receive the free Sensi Smart Thermostat with free shipping, excluding tax. Additionally, you will receive $25 each year you continue to participate in the Peak Time Savings Program. If you do not complete your enrollment in the Peak Time Savings program within 60 days, your account will be charged back the $50 sign-up bonus received as part of this offer to make the thermostat free. We will send you 3 email reminders about enrollment before your account is charged. Should you unenroll and decide to reenroll at a later date, you will be eligible to receive the annual incentive based on your new enrollment date but cannot receive the sign-up bonus again.

How does shipping work? When will I get my smart thermostat?

Once we receive an order, we begin fulfilling it right away and orders cannot be cancelled or changed. Orders must ship to the address where you receive Ameren Missouri electric service. If you have concerns about package security, please take appropriate precautions to receive your shipment when the tracking indicates it will be delivered. If you need to change this address for security reasons only, please contact customer service before placing your order at 1.877.215.5752.

Due to the extended and highly variable shipping times we’re seeing, please know that your order may take 2-4 weeks to be delivered. You will receive a shipping confirmation with a tracking number once the order ships. Orders will ship via FedEx SmartPost and are typically delivered to your door by your regular USPS carrier, but are occasionally delivered directly by a FedEx driver.

Is there a thermostat installer that I can contact if I decide to have it installed?

Most folks can easily install the thermostat themselves. In case you need an installer’s help, please use our easy to use Find a Contractor tool to locate a thermostat installer near you. Normal installer fees and charges will apply. Be sure to inquire charges before making the appointment.
